Older CD ROMs often deliver information at a rate too slow to use digital playback or digital copying. This is typical of CD ROMs that are slower than 1x speed. You should switch playback and copying to analog. Windows Media Player is configured by default to use digital playback and copying. To enable analog playback and copying, clear the Digital playback and Digital copying checkboxes on the CD Audio properties page.
