Which modem?
Q Can you tell me if I can buy a modem to attach to a Mac IIsi? I am having real trouble finding someone to ask. - Debbie Samuel A Connection standards and protocols for various peripherals have changed over the years, so people with older Macs such as your IIci will have difficulty finding a printer, for instance. But modems arenÆt like that; any modem that will work with a Mac will work with your Iici. BanksiaÆs Mac Wave modem, for instance, comes with a good selection of software and drivers and is an inexpensive and reliable unit. Contact AppleÆs information line on 1800 025 355 to find out where your nearest Mac reseller is; most of them stock a wide selection of suitable modems. | Category:Macintosh Issue: February 1999 |
