System Snapshot
System Cleaner's System Snapshot tool tracks changes made to
your system by other programs. To activate the tool, use the Analyze
& Compare button on the System Cleaner's left panel.
The System Snapshot tool allows creating a snapshot of all system data,
comparing this snapshot to the system state at any moment and reporting
all the changes to you. You can setup the tool's
options calling the options dialog right
from the tool's window.
After setting the options, select the required action:
- Create a new System Snapshot. If you select this option,
on the following screen you can write a description for the snapshot.
Then press the Create button and wait until the process
completes. You will get the success message as soon as the snapshot
is created.
- Compare current system contents to the last snapshot created.
This option only makes sense when a previously created snapshot is available.
If you select this option, the latest created snapshot will be used for
comparison.
- Compare the current system contents to the following snapshot. If you
select this option, select a required snapshot from the list that will appear.
