Command Line Options

DiskCheckup currently supports the following command line options:

CHECKTEC

This option launches DiskCkeckup and checks all the SMART attributes of all SMART devices on the system.  If there is a Threshold Exceed Condition reached, it will perform the tasks as configured by “Action on Threshold Exceed Condition” in the “Configuration” window.  DiskCheckup will exit automatically and no DiskCheckup window will be displayed.

Usage:

> DiskCheckup CHECKTEC

-c filename

Use this option if you wish to use a configuration file other than the default one.

Usage

> DiskCheckup -c altconfig.cfg

-m

This option can be used to have DiskCheckup start already minimized to the system tray.

Usage

> DiskCheckup -m
