Logging

Action

The information that will be logged to the Action window.

Detailed Building File Lists

For every file: show IF and WHY it is included or excluded.

Enabling this option will slow down the Action and result in big log files.

Detailed Progress

Display file progress for every file in the log during Action execution.
If unchecked, only the failures are reported.
Also applies to the option Test Archive.

Enabling this option will slightly slow down the action. And it will result in a larger log file.

Save Log to '<ProfileName>.log'

Check this option if you want to automatically save the information (selected above) to a log-file (below).
The log-file '[ProfileName].log' will be saved in the Action Log Directory.

Action Log Directory

Set the directory Log files will be saved to.

Application

Save Status Messages

If enabled, the messages of the Status panel in the main window are saved to the Application Data directory of the current user.
(Windows XP: "\Documents and Settings\[user]\Application Data\Abakt\Abakt.log".)

Maximum Size (kB)

The maximum size of the Status Messages file.
When "Abakt.log" has reached 1/2 of the maximum size, the log file will be saved as "Abakt.log.old". Logging will be continued in "Abakt.log".
