Please note that you are not forced to use Firefox as your primary browser. MediaCoder will detect and invoke Firefox to display the XML/XSLT user interfaces even if it's not the primary browser. (only a 6M download).

If you would like to, you can DIY a portable version of MediaCoder that can be launched from USB storage on any PC. Please see here.
