Unless you have not enabled the Auto Save option for the desktop, AceHTML does not keep the changes you make to your work environment; that is, custom toolbars, display options, window arrangement, and all other customized parameters will be lost. You can always save them in order to use them during a new work session by saving your desktop.
AceHTML provides you with four predefined desktop configurations:
Default and Basic: displays the explorer window to the left of the edit window.
Docked: displays the explorer anchored to the edit window.
Full Screen: displays the edit window in full screen size.
Like AceHTML v3: embeds the explorer window to the left of the edit window (like the code's tree structure window in the previous version of the application).
Auto Save: determines the desktop automatic save mode. On start up, the application displays the desktop such as it was the last time it was closed.
This command is also useful to save several desktop configurations which correspond to the different tasks you have to perform
When you save your desktop, AceHTML keeps it in memory:
the interface configuration determined in the General Preferences and the Editor Preferences,

Once the parameters have been established, from the View menu, select desktop.
Click on the Save current desktop option. A dialog box appears.
Enter a name for the configuration you want to save.

Click on the Save current desktop button.
Display the desktop you want to delete.
From the View menu, select Desktops.
Click on the delete current desktop option.
