Encoding

Encoding is used to create complex HTML documents using several languages (ASP, XML, CSS). It improves coding of characters, which are then better interpreted (decoded) by servers.

Generally speaking, even if a standard HTML document is created with style sheets or scripts that refer to various coded languages, it will still be considered as "unicode". The North American standard is Arabic Windows-1256).

  1. In the View menu, click on Encoding.

  2. Select the desired code from the menu list.

You can also display the Encoding toolbar.
