By checking the box
next to each option you can use Musicmatch Jukebox as the default (regular)
player for the following music file formats.
M3U
MP3
Music CDs
Secure Music
WAV
Windows Media Files
Occasionally, installing other applications will cause the
file association (in other words, the program to play a particular type
of file, like MP3s) to change from Musicmatch Jukebox. If
you'd like to control this through Musicmatch Jukebox you have 3 options:
Reclaim
associations without asking - Recognizes that another application
has claimed the file type and Musicmatch Jukebox will automatically claim
it back.
Ask
before reclaiming associations - Will ask you if you'd like Musicmatch
to keep the association before a change is made.
Never reclaim
associations - Allows any program to claim your digital music.
(Not recommended)
By checking the box
next to each option, When double-clicking on a music file on your hard
drive, you can elect to have it:
Add to Music Library
Add to Playlist
Checking both will add to both locations.
By checking the box
next to each option, when you download a music file from the Internet
you can have it:
Add to Music Library
Add to Playlist
Confirm
before downloading
(Internet connection required).
Checking allows for these automated tasks to occur:
Periodically
check for updated versions of Musicmatch Jukebox - will look to
the Musicmatch server for the newest version of Musicmatch Jukebox and
give you the option to update your program.
Upload
user preference information based on listening profile - Enables
Musicmatch Personalization, a service that learns your taste in music,
and customized the Musicmatch system to match your good taste by making
recommendations from millions of users who have similar good taste. To
opt into this free service, select the check box.
