Security
At the Security options page you can set the options to be applied
to the files being deleted from your system in the course of System Cleaner's
tools and features use.
Section When deleting files:
- Send files to Recycle Bin: the files will not be deleted by System
Cleaner irretrievably; they will be moved to your Recycle Bin instead. This
ensures the possibility to restore the deleted files by yourself but involves
the risk of the files being restored by unauthorized persons.
- Securely delete files using the following Data Destruction Algorithm:
the files being deleted by System Cleaner will be processed using a special
algorithm chosen by you below. This will ensure the highest security level
as it will be virtually impossible to restore the deleted files for a stranger,
however you should be aware that you will also be unable to restore them
yourself which means that this option should be used with care. As an additional
security option, you can also use the For even extra security rename the files
before wiping option.
To apply the highly secure deletion algorithms to only some files manually
selected by you, you can use the System Cleaner's
Shredder tool. Please also refer to the
Shredder help section to learn more about Data Destruction algorithms used.
