Options
Options Junk Files / Options page defines your specific search
preferences for the Junk/Obsolete File Finder of the System Cleaner's
Disk Cleaner.
Section Folders deals with Windows service folders.
- Include content of Windows Temp folder: the general Windows Temp folder will be
treated as a normal disk folder (otherwise it will be skipped by the tool).
- Include content of Windows Temp folder for current user: the current user's
Windows Temp folder will be treated as a normal disk folder (otherwise it will be skipped
by the tool).
Section Search Options deals with specific types of files.
- Ignore write-protected files and files in use: the tool will not treat these files
as junk and will not remove them. We recommend you to have this option on as otherwise some
temporary files can be deleted created by different programs and being currently used; this
may cause these programs fail.
- Assume zero-length files as junk: consider all empty files as junk. This will
ensure more thorough cleaning but may slow down the processing as all files will be
scanned.
Section Automation regulates how the found files must be processed
after the scan completes.
- Automatically clean files after complete scan: automatically delete all junk
and obsolete files without your manual confirmation when the search completes.
