What to do with dangerous objects

If dangerous objects are detected in your mail, in files that you open, or in programs that you start, a special message will open on the screen.
The type of notification can be as follow:
- Notice - a suspicious object detected. If possible, the name of the supposed malicious program is indicated that has possibly infected the file.
- Warning - malicious program detected.
The notification contains:
- Where possible, the short and full name of the malicious program which infected the object. The name is a hyperlink to www.viruslist.com,where more information on the malware can be found.
- Brief description and a set of potential actions to remove the infection from the object. The description shows what type of malicious program infected the object and if it can be neutralized.
If the object can be disinfected, you will be given the choice of the following actions:
- Disinfect - attempt to disinfect the infected object. Before treatment, a backup copy is made of the object in case the necessity arise to restore it or a portrait of its infection.
- Delete - delete infected object. Before treatment, a backup copy is made of the object in case the necessity arise to restore it or a portrait of its infection.
- Skip - take no actions on the object; simply record information about it in the report. If this action is selected, the object is made available for use.
If the object cannot be disinfected, Active Virus Shield asks if you want to delete or skip it.
If the object is suspected of being infected, you will be asked if you want to skip the object or send it to Quarantine.
To execute an action, click the appropriate button.
