How to Update the Program

Active Virus Shield updates the threats signatures using dedicated update servers. These servers are internet sites where the program updates are stored.


	Warning! You will need a connection to the Internet to update Active Virus Shield.

Active Virus Shield automatically checks for updates on the AOL servers. If new program updates have been released, they are downloaded and installed behind to keep the software current and up to date.

To manually update Active Virus Shield, select the Update component in the Service section of the main program window and click the

Update now! button.

The update will start and the details of the process with be displayed in a separate window.
