Protection of your computer directly depends on updating the threat signatures and program modules regularly. By default, your software is configured to update automatically, which means that Active Virus Shield copies and installs updates as they are released on the update servers. After installation, if you need to configure updates (set up network properties, or select the resource from which updates will be downloaded), you can do so by clicking on Settings.
