Active Virus Shield connects to the backend servers and sends them your activation. This code is then inspected by the server. If the activation code passes inspection, a license key is send to the installed software, and this key fully enables Active Virus Shield with all product features. The license key is installed automatically and an activation completion window with detailed information on the license is shown. If the activation code does not pass inspection, you will see a corresponding message on the screen. If this occurs, please contact us via the support portal.

It is important to keep in mind that activation is only possible when an internet connection is present. You cannot activate without being connected to the Internet.
