During Active Virus Shield operation, the following kinds of events arise:
Critical events are events of a critical importance and are highly recommended to receive, since they point to problems in program operation or vulnerabilities in protection on your computer.
For example, threat signatures corrupt or license expired.
Important events are events that must be paid attention to, since they reflect important situations in the operation of the program. For example, protection disabled or computer has not been scanned for viruses for a long time.
Informative messages are reference-type messages which as a rule do not contain important information. For example, all dangerous objects disinfected.
To specify which events the program should notify you of and how:
Click the Settings link in the programÆs main window.
In the program settings window, select
Service, check Enable Notifications, and edit detailed settings by clicking the Settings... button.
You can configure the following notification methods for the events listed above on the Events tab of the window that opens:
Pop-up messages above the program icon in the system tray that contain an informative message on the event that occurred. To use this type of notice, check
in the Baloon section across from the event about which you want to be informed.
Audio message. If you want this notice to be accompanied by a sound file, check
Sound
across from the event.
Notification by e-mail.
To use this type of notice, check
in the E-mail section across from the event about which you want to be informed and configure settings for sending notices.
