Configuring Quarantine settings

You can configure the quarantine settings, specifically:

Assign the automatic scan mode for objects in quarantine after each update of the threat signatures (for more details, see section Actions after updating the program).

Set the maximum duration for storing objects in the quarantine.

Warning!

The program will not be able to scan quarantined objects immediately after updating the threat signatures, if you are working with quarantine.

By default, the duration for storing objects in quarantine is 30 days, at the end of which the objects will be deleted. You can change the maximum period for storing potentially infected objects or shut of this restriction altogether.

To change the configurations:

Open the Active Virus Shield settings window by clicking Settings in the main program window.

Select the

Data Files component in the settings tree.

Set the duration for storing objects in quarantine in the Quarantine & Backup section on the right-hand part of the screen.
