Running updates with another userÆs rights
|
Active Virus Shield has a feature that can start program updates for another profile. This feature disabled by default, and tasks are run under the profile under which you are logged into the system.
Since the program can be updated from a source that you do not have access to (for example, the network updates directory) or authorized user rights to the proxy server, you can use this feature to run program updates using the login of a user that has such privileges.
You can configure this feature on the
Additional tab.
To enable this feature, check
Run this tasks. Enter the data for the login that you want to start the task as below: account name and password.
Please pay attention that if you are not running the update with another user's rights, scheduled update will be performed with SYSTEM rights.
