The OfficeFIX new installation

OfficeFIX 3 has a completely new installation package as well as each individual program in the Suite: ExcelFIX, AccessFIX y WordFIX.

The new versions are those released after and including the following: 

OfficeFIX 3.00
ExcelFIX 4.00
AccessFIX 3.80
WordFIX 2.40

Installing the OfficeFIX programs separately or as a Suite will show only one application in the Window's list: "Cimaware OfficeFIX 4". In the older versions you can have up to four applications installed: One for the Suite and one for each one of the programs if they were installed separately.


Having OfficeFIX 2 and OfficeFIX 4 installed simultaneously

When you install OfficeFIX 4 or any of its programs separately with a previous version already installed they will coexist: 

- The new installation will be in the start menu folder: "Cimaware OfficeFIX 4".
- Previous installations will be in the start menu folder: "Cimaware OfficeFIX".


Uninstalling OfficeFIX 2
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We recommend uninstalling previous versions of OfficeFIX or its programs to avoid confusions and to save space in your hard disk. To uninstall go to  [Control Panel / Add or Remove programs].

Uninstall from your computer the following programs if they were previously installed:

- Cimaware OfficeFIX
- Cimaware ExcelFIX
- Cimaware AccessFIX
- Cimaware WordFIX

Be careful not to remove the new installation "Cimaware OfficeFIX 4" or you will have to install it again later.
