Creating web galleries

Being able to put your images on the web is the nicest way to share your pictures with family and friends. In cam2pc you have two different ways to create a web gallery:

INSTANT WEB GALLERIES

When you open the Instant Web Gallery dialog the first thing to do is to choose the style of gallery you want to use. You can browse through the styles and watch the preview to make your choice. Also do not forget to check this page to see if more styles are available.

Once you have chosen your style, you have to tell cam2pc where it shoudl create the gallery. Pick any folder as the root folder and then give a site folder name: cam2pc will create a subfolder using that name in the root folder you specified. For instance if you chose "C:\My Documents" as the root and you type "My Gallery" in the site folder then the gallery will be created in "C:\My Documents\My Gallery".

Next give a title to the gallery. This will be used in all the pages.

The rest of the options are self explanatory: slideshow, thumbnails size and image size. The gallery creation does not take luch time so do not hesitate to play with those settings.

The color options might not be available for all styles. Styles with a background image for instance do not allow you to change the colors so that everything stays readable.

CUSTOM WEB GALLERIES

You should really use this feature if you know what you are doing and have some knowledge of HTML. If you do so, most of the options here will appear clear to you so I am only going to give details on some of them.
