The CDDB Control page lets you do the following:
Displays status and settings for the Gracenote CDDB service, which is what provides the Artist and Title information to QCD.
Set folder where CDDB control will store its cached information
Set the preferred language to use for information downloaded from the CDDB service.
To display the CDDB Control page:
In the top left corner of the base skin , click the Main Menu button, choose Preferences, and then click Settings then Gracenote CDDB > CDDB Control.
Registering with the CDDB service:
Before the player can use the CDDB service to recognize CD's and audio files, you must accept the CDDB agreement that appears when you start the player.
The CDDB registration dialogs will only appear if you are online and are not already registered. If you wish to not register with CDDB, you can avoid having the CDDB registration dialog appear by setting your Internet Connection to 'I have no Internet connection (Never Connect)'

Click to retrieve the current status messages about the CDDB service. Note: The status message is set by the CDDB service, it does necessarily reflect your registration status with the service. |
CDDB Cache Path |
Click to set the folder to store the downloaded CDDB information. |
CDDB Preferred Language |
Select the preferred language to for information retrieved from CDDB. The information will be in the selected language only if it exists on the service in that language. |
Update Language List |
If the list of languages is empty, click this to update it. |
