You can conveniently control DeliPlayer's replay functions (play/stop/next etc.) with hotkeys. When DeliPlayer is running, a new tray-icon will be added. This icon has two different menus. One is opened by pressing the left mousebutton while the mouse is over the trayicon, the other by clicking the right mousebutton. DeliPlayer is highly configurable. To open the server's configuration window, open the right mousebutton menu of the Deli's trayicon and select the 'Configuration' entry. The clients (Panel/Playlist) have their own configuration windows. DeliPlayer's user interfacer is highly configurable. You can change its style in the Control Client Configuration (see the context menu). You can add new fields to the Playlist. To do so, open the playlist's configuration, switch to the 'Columns' page and press 'Add'. You can use a background image in the Playlist. See the 'Layout' page in the playlist's configuration. You can double click the DeliPlayer's trayicon. You can even select which action you want to be executed on such a double click. See the 'Miscellaneous' entry of the 'Server' branch in the Server's configuration window. You can record tunes to the disk with the 'Streamrecorder', even mp3 saving is possible if you have the 'lameenc.dll' or the 'bladeenc.dll' encoders. You can easily open the StreamRecorder from the 'Open Window' context menu. You can hide/show the window caption of all windows (see the Window Customization dialog, Window Switches page) You can drop files (e.g. from a filemanager like Explorer or TotalCommander) onto the playlist and the panels. You can drop Internet Radio links from the Internet Explorer onto the any DeliPlayer window. You can arrange playlists by dragging selected entries and dropping them at a new location in the playlist. You can arrange playlists by dragging selected entries from one playlist window into another playlist window. The Playlist has a very powerful search functionality. You can search for simple words/letters and regular expressions. In the Playlist, you can jump to the currently playing entry by pressing the Backspace key. You can make the Playlist hide in a trayicon instead of terminating when you close its window. To do so, select 'Close Window only hides' in the client config. You can store relative paths when saving playlists. You should check 'http://www.deliplayer.com' now and then to see if there are updates. You can also subscribe to the DeliPlayer 'News' mailinglist if you want to be notified when a new version is available. The playlist allows you to directly edit any data by first selecting the entry/row (by mouse or keyboard), and then clicking once on the field you want to modify. Do not click too fast, or the two clicks will be interpreted as a double click, which will play the entry. In the Playlist, you can rearrange the columns by drag&&dropping them to a new location in the header. You can hide the windows of the visualization plugins (WaveScope,FrequencyScope...) from the taskbar. To do so, open the plugin's configuration window and activate the 'Hide from Taskbar' switch. You can tailor a custom window title for every DeliPlayer client window. See the 'Window Customization' dialog. When you think you have mastered DeliPlayer you should try the 'God Mode'. Surrender all your UI experiences ! (be warned though, we do not give any support for 'God Mode' problems) In the Playlist, you can move the inplace-edit field with the TAB key or with ALT+. You can mark any number of entries in the Playlist to be played in their very own order. ALT+. appends the selected entry at the end of this list, ALT+, inserts it at the top of the list, ALT+- removes the entry from the list and ALT-# clears the complete 'special order' list.
