Using Aliases

"Aliases" is a feature that makes it easy to launch web sites from your address bar. The "Aliases" feature is similar to QuickSearch but simpler because no variables are replaced.

To create an Alias, choose the Tools Menu > Aliases. Click the Insert button, and then type the shortcut you wish to use and the URL that will be launch when that shortcut is typed in the address bar. For example, you could create an Aliases to NetCaptor.com by adding the shortcut "nc" and the url "http://www.netcaptor.com/" to your Aliases. Then, anytime you typed "nc" and hit ENTER in the address bar, you will be taken to "http://www.netcaptor.com/".

Replacement Variables

There are currently two replacement variables that can be used with Aliases.
