The procedure is as standard as for infrared connection. As far as Nokia N-Gage doesn't have IR port you should install the agent via Bluetooth. NOTE!!! You have to install version 2.10 of the agent in order to be able to work with the latest version of OPM II. Earlier versions may work with errors fixed in the latest software or not work at all. Working via IR ============== You need to tune PC side in order to be able to connect the software to the phone. Since version Alpha 2 we moved from working via virtual IR serial port to IrDA sockets support. This technology is more reliable and easier to tune in common. Also, now you are able to run the software under Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition. Working via Bluetooth ===================== You can also work using Bluetooth connection. Data exchange is performed using "Bluetooth Serial Port" service. In order to be able to connect to the phone you need to add "com port" in the program options and set it to one to which "Bluetooth serial port" service is linked. Device pairing is conducted as usual. Note that Bluetooth connection for Sony Ericsson P800/P900 is not supported officially thus it's not recommended to use it. Working via USB =============== USB connection is not supported yet though we are working on it. Running Oxygen Phone Manager II with Nokia 7650/3650/6600/N-Gage/3600/3660/3620, Sony Ericsson P800/P900 or Siemens SX1 ==================================================================================== Start Oxygen Phone Manager II. Then run installed connection agent (OPMAgent) in your phone. If you want to communicate using infrared you need to check "IrDA" setting in the program options. In case you want to use your Bluetooth dongle you need to add com port with number corresponding to local device serial port service. The program will start waiting for the connection. Select 'Start IrDA exchange' or 'Start BT exchange' menu item of the phone agent, respectively. If you use IR, aim the IR window of your phone to IR device. If the connection succeeds the program will inform you that the phone is found. After that, you can work with phone's data from the program.
