Zoom Player was designed to be simple at first glance while being remarkably dynamic and flexible when used to its full potential. Zoom Player works in two modes. A Media mode which can play any file supported by DirectShow (any file which plays in MediaPlayer) and a DVD mode which uses pre-installed DirectShow DVD filters to play DVD content. Keyboard Macros: Almost every feature of Zoom Player can be controlled through the keyboard in order for it to support remote devices and power users. To view a list of the keyboard macros, open the options dialog and switch to the "Keys" tab. Subtitles & Other Filters: To enable subtitles in Zoom Player, you need to install a subtitle filter called "DirectVobSub". This filter is freely available and can be found either at it's home page: "http://vobsub.edensrising.com" or at "http://www.doom9.org". Once installed, you can access the subtitle properties through the filter list, or by pressing ALT+"S" once a movie is loaded. Zoom Player also supports the TFM Audio Filter. This filter when installed can modify various audio aspects of the played video in real time. It can be activated by pressing ALT+"A", or through the filter list on the right-click menu.
