| HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE | Settings are saved under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE in the Windows Registry. They will apply to the whole computer and every user. |
| HKEY_CURRENT_USER | Settings are saved under HKEY_CURRENT_USER in the Windows Registry. They will apply only to the user who is logged on. |
