Boot Key Disabling
The Windows boot keys (F5, F6 and F8) are certain keys that when pressed as Windows is initially starting up can be used to enter safe mode and other modes of Windows which prevent SecureIt Pro from running. To disable these boot keys, tell SecureIt Pro to disable them by checking the Enable Boot Key Disabling option.
Note: Checking this option will disable boot keys while SecureIt Pro is locked.
Further note: Quantrix suggests that users running SecureIt Pro in Windows Millennium Edition (ME) refrain from using Boot Key Disabling as this feature is known to cause startup problems with Windows ME.
