Sound preferences

Opera can play specific sound clips at certain events, for example a jingle when an instant message contact is on-line.

First select one of the self-explanatory event items in the list, then either...

1. Change the sound using the file browser
2. Clear the association, so the event will have no sound anymore
3. Test the sound

Sounds have to be in the WAV format.

Tip: Use the "Find file" functionality in the Operating System to look for sound files.

You can also disable event sounds altogether.
