Monitors

Number of columns: defines the number of vertical columns in Hackman's monitors. Default number is 33, which is calculated for Hex & Ascii monitor as (Number of active columns)+1.

Hex & Ascii: 33 is 32 active columns divided by 2 is 16 columns for hex and 16 for ascii. A 35 setting would lead to 17 and 17.
All other monitors: 33 is the active number therefore we have 33 columns.

Number of space between columns: The bigger this setting is, the more readable the monitor becomes but the bigger the resolution demands are.
Override these settings using the defaults: Ignores the settings above and uses for all monitors the default configuration.
Font name and size: configures the monitor's fonts independently. This is possible in the case that you want to use i.e. Courier fonts for the monitor, without changing the application's font settings.
