Change Offset

Purpose: You can skip unwanted file information (such as header) and proceed to the main file, while maintaining a zero start (absolute position) at the beginning of the file and another zero start (relative position) at the new offset position.

Desired offset: enter a number of bytes within the bounds specified above the box field which will be from now on the starting point of the file for Hackman. This could be very helpful in order to skip header information.
Mode: configures the numbering system as supported by Hackman.

Pressing Ok will apply the changes, Cancel will ignore any changes.

The active monitor supports offset changes. Moving your cursor on the cursor position layer, you can see the Relative Position (where 0 is the beginning of the offset that you've set) and the Absolute Position (where your offset changes are ignored).
