Super Text Search is a utility for Windows 95/98/NT which enables you to
quickly search files for text. You can search anything from a single file to
an entire drive for any text you need to find. Both plain text files (program
source code, batch files, HTML files, etc.) and binary files (word processing
and spreadsheet documents, databases, even executable programs) can be
searched, as can files archived inside Zip files. In addition to simple
searches for words or phrases, the program allows you to use regular
expressions (as found in Grep utilities, which will be familiar to the more
technical among you) to perform more advanced searches including wild cards
and various types of pattern matching. After performing a search, files
containing the search text can be viewed, edited or opened in their associated
applications. Search results can also be printed or exported to a text file.

To install the program, simply run the Setup program.

Instructions for using the program are in the on-line help.

Obtaining the latest version:

If you obtained it from a different site, please check there to make sure your

Registration

Please note that the shareware version of Super Text Search is a 15-day
evaluation version and will cease to function after this period if it is
not registered.

There are two ways to register: direct payment to me by check or cash, or
online credit card ordering through Digibuy, a leading order processing service,

For registrations sent to me, the fee is $20.00. Upon receipt of the fee, I
will send you the registration code by E-mail, so be sure to include your
E-mail address. If you don't have one, I will send it by snail mail to your
postal address. When you receive this, start the program and choose
Help/Enter Registration Code on the menu, then enter the code.

Please note that if you are registering for multiple users, you must pay the
registration fee for each user. Contact me by E-mail for information on site
license pricing.

Checks drawn on banks outside the U.S.A. cannot be accepted. Canadian checks
are accepted only if drawn on a U.S. branch of a Canadian bank. Registration
may be paid in cash (U.S. dollars preferred, but Canadian or any European
currency is acceptable).
