Introduction

Pulse is a Windows 95/98/NT audio player based on component system (which allows programmers to add a new component (e.g. new format loader) just by adding the dll library to its directory). The basic version supports many audio formats and its design is fully redefinable. The program uses our audio and graphics libraries - AudioMate and Outer Visual Engine. For more information about these products see the 'Contact' and 'Downloads' sections which contain some important www links and addresses. We started developing this product in spring/summer 1997. Originally it was only a PMODE-based audio library, but we decided to do it again in Windows after our programmer's HDD crash (without any backups, ofcourse :-) . Now Pulse becomes a stable and very flexible product. Pulse player supports all the most popular audio formats, including MPx, CD audio, WAV, XM, IT and many more. The Pulse is freeware and has to be distributed with all the files that are shipped in the release.
