USB 2.0 HUBs. 2. USB 2.0 Isochronous devices. 3. Composite USB 2.0 Devices. 4. USB Remote Wake Up. ========================= 3.1 Troubleshooting Info: ========================= 1. When using Windows ME, the Device Manager will have a green question mark next to any USB 2.0 device which is connected to an Adaptec USB 2.0 card. The device will continue to function properly. This is an operating system feature. 2. When using Windows 98SE, if the system attempts to enter in-active standby (S3 mode), the driver will only allow it to enter standby (S1 mode). 3. When using Windows ME, the system may report that the USB 2.0 CD-RW connected to an Adaptec AUA-2000LP card does not contain any media when resuming from a suspend. To workaround this issue; use the "unplug or eject hardware" icon in the system to remove the USB 2.0 CD-RW. Unplug the USB 2.0 CD-RW from the card, and then plug it back in. 4. When doing a hot-unplug/hot-plug, the system may not recognize the USB 2.0 device. To workaround this issue, allow at least 3 seconds between a hot-unplug and hot-plug. 5. When using Windows 2000, if two or more USB 2.0 devices are disconnected using the "unplug or eject hardware" icon in the system tray without physically removing the device, then when one of the USB 2.0 devices is physically removed, the other USB 2.0 device will re-enumerate. To workaround this issue, hot-unplug each USB device you want to remove before using the "unplug or eject hardware" icon to remove the next USB device. 6. When using Windows 2000, with certain CD-RW applications running, the system may stall if an USB CD-RW drive is removed using the "unplug or eject hardware" icon in the system tray. 7. When using Windows 98SE, Windows ME, and Windows 2000, the system may not behave properly should it attempt to enter active-standby (S3 mode). ======================== 3.2 USB 2.0 Device List: ======================== USB 2.0 IDE Bridge USB 2.0 Hard Disk USB 2.0 MO Drive USB 2.0 CDRW USB 2.0 Scanner ======================== 3.3 USB 1.1 Device List: ======================== Iomega USB 1.1 Zip 250 Logitech Wingman Extreme Digital 3D (USB Game Controller) Logitech WheelMouse (USB Mouse) Adaptec USBXchange with SCSI Hard Disk Addonics USB Web Camera Umax Astra 1220S Colour Scanner Microsoft USB IntelliMouse Explorer Microsoft USB Internet Keyboard Microsoft Sidewinder Joystick Intel USB Video Camera Hewlett-Packard ScanJet 6300C Hewlett-Packard DeskJet 840C Printer Creative Video Blaster Web Camera Epson Stylus Colour 680 Printer Epson 610 Perfection Scanner Addonics USB Web Camera OEM USB Hub ============================== 3.4 System Compatibility List: ============================== Acer Veriton 7100: Pentium III Compaq 5000: Athlon Compaq 5000: Duron Compaq 6000: Pentium II Compaq Desktop Pro P3 1GHz: Pentium III Compaq Deskpro EN Series: Pentium III Dell DCS: Pentium II Dell Prescision 220: Pentium III Dell Dimension L866r: Pentium III Dell Dimension 4100: Pentium III Dell Dimension 8100: Pentium 4 Dell Optiplex GX150: Pentium III eMachines eTower 533: Celeron eMachines eTower 667ir: Celeron Gateway 2000: Pentium Pro Gateway AMD 1.2GHz: Athlon Hitachi Prius: AMD-K6 III HP Brio: Celeron HP 6635: Celeron HP VL6-266 Series 6: Pentium II HP Kayak XM600: Pentium III HP Pavilion 9795C: Pentium 4 HP Vectra VL400 DT P866: Pentium III IBM NetVista A20: Pentium III IBM NetVista A40i: Duron IBM Aptiva: Pentium II Micron Atlanta: Pentium II Micron M55HiPLUS: Pentium II Micron PTSAM: Pentium II Sony VAIO PCV-RX280DS: Pentium III Sony VAIO PCV-RX280DS: Pentium III ---------------------------------- 20.07.2001 12.07 English
