You may have a number of COM ports available on your system, to which a range of devices may be attached:
Of these, only the first two are supported by LogoManager, for Cable and DirectIR connections respectively (note that IrDA connections do not require a port configuration in LogoManager, as this is handled by the driver). When you select a port for a Cable or DirectIR in LogoManager, it is important to use the physical port and not a virtual port. Physical serial ports are most frequently assigned to COM1 or COM2. Other ports usually use higher port numbers.
Some of the above are not actually physical ports, but software devices added by Nokia Data Suite or IrDA. If you are getting the 'Accessory connected' message on the handset, then this indicates that you are mistakenly using the Data Suite port, most often COM3 or COM4. LogoManager does not require Data Suite to function.
