This document contains important license information regarding the use of Coeli - Adastra. It applies specifically to individual users who may wish to pass copies out to friends or associates.

For site licensing, please contact
Swimming Elk Software directly - all such requests will be dealt with on an individual basis.

User Groups, Computer Clubs, Disk Vendors and Distributors, Subscription Services, Disk-of-the-Month Clubs, etc., should refer to the VENDOR.TXT file for complete information relating to them.

BBS sysops and ftp/http download site maintainers & webmasters should refer to the SYSOP.TXT file for complete information relating to them.



~Limited License for Evaluation Purposes


Swimming Elk Software hereby grants you a limited license to use this software for evaluation purposes either

a) for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days, or
b) up to a usage limit of 100 program sessions,


whichever limit comes sooner.

If you intend using this software package
after the thirty day evaluation period or beyond the usage limit of 100 program sessions, you are under a legal and moral obligation to purchase the software from Swimming Elk Software. You can order via our secure server today by clicking this

~Limited Distribution License:

As the copyright holder for
Adastra(tm), Swimming Elk Software authorizes distribution by individuals solely in accordance with the following restrictions.

Individuals are hereby granted permission by Swimming Elk Software to copy the Shareware version of the Adastra software package AS ORIGINALLY DISTRIBUTED for their own evaluation purposes or for other individuals to evaluate, ONLY when the following conditions are met.

The Adastra package is defined as containing all the material listed in the VENDINFO.DIZ file. If any files listed in VENDINFO.DIZ, or VENDINFO.DIZ itself, are missing, then the package is not complete and distribution is prohibited. Please contact us to obtain a complete package suitable for distribution.









Distributors are especially asked to avoid the following terms when describing the Adastra software package:

free, freeware, free software, nag, nagware, public domain, demo, demonstration software, or any other term or phrase which admits of an interpretation not in keeping with the official product definition given below.

Non-compliance with this request may invalidate previous license permissions granted by Swimming Elk Software to the Licensee.

Authorship of the Adastra software package may not be attributed to any name but Swimming Elk Software.

~OFFICIAL PRODUCT DEFINITION:

Fully and continuously functioning evaluation software package distributed via shareware channels, hereafter to be designated as Shareware, Shareware package, or Adastra software package.

For definitions and explanations pertaining to matters of copyright and shareware distribution, we would direct you to the files Shr-ware.txt and ShareW.txt included as part of the Adastra software package.

This software and accompanying documentation are protected by United States Copyright law and also by International Treaty provisions. Any use of this software in violation of Copyright law or the terms of this limited license will be prosecuted to the best of our ability. The conditions under which you may copy this software and documentation are clearly outlined above under "Limited Distribution License".


All rights not expressly granted here are reserved to Swimming Elk Software.



~License Terms for Registered Copies of Adastra


The registered version (unless otherwise stated) is intended solely for installation on a single computer system by one registered individual. Distribution of the registered version of the Adastra software package, or any part thereof, is strictly prohibited.



CONCERNING VENDINFO FILES INCLUDED WITH THE COELI PACKAGE

The attached VENDINFO data record is hereby incorporated by reference. Any distribution satisfying all the distribution requirements expressed in that data record is hereby authorized.

If the Licensee satisfies Swimming Elk Software's conditions for distributing the Coeli package, Swimming Elk Software authorizes the Licensee's use of its unaltered product-descriptive texts without further permission.

All licenses to distribute the Adastra package are solely between the producer (Swimming Elk Software) and distributor (Licensee), and do not involve VENDINFO or Rams' Island Software.
