PowerDVD is a high-quality, low-cost, pure software DVD (Digital Versatile Disc) player that brings movies and karaoke into your multimedia PC. Using PowerDVD, you can play back high-resolution MPEG-2 video with high-quality, 5.1-channel AC-3 surround sound audio. Moreover, PowerDVD provides a complete set of commands for navigation. Not only are basic operations like play, stop, and pause supported, but advanced features, such as seamless multi-angle switching and multilanguage functions (for up to 32 language channels) are provided, as well. Because of its audio and video performance on Pentium II PCs, no hardware MPEG-2 board is required.
