Saving a GIF

The GIF (Graphics Interchange Format) is a popular raster graphics file format supporting color depths up to 256 colors. Many applications support the GIF standard and it is widely used on the Web. GIF files support transparency, use a lossless compression technique, and offer an efficient way to store and transmit large images.

To save a GIF:

  1. Using Screen Rip32, capture the image that you want to save as a GIF.

  2. Choose File > Save As > GIF (*.gif).

The Save As dialog box appears.

  1. Using the Save In list, choose a destination folder..

  2. Click the File name field and enter a filename for the image.

  3. Click Save.
