The "Send E-Mail about device" Window

With the help of this Window you can send us information about how well CloneCD performs with the CD-ROMs or CD-Writers you have.

This is a very useful, as it helps us to improve the software and its documentation.

Before sending us an E-Mail, please perform some tests.

• Does "Normal Read" work? (No - Yes, but slow - Yes)
• Does "Reading copy protected CDs work? (No - Yes, but slow - Yes)
• How is the Quality of extracted Audio Data? (Doesn't work - Bad - Good)
• Reading extra Audio Info works?  (No - Yes, but slow - Yes)
• Writing works? (CD-Writers only)
• Simulated Writing works? (CD-Writers only)

After you have entered the requested information, click the Send Email button. In addition to your input CloneCD sends all important data about the device (Manufacturer, Product, Revision, etc.).

Before the E-Mail is sent you have the opportunity to review it. There is no secret information sent to us. Please do not alter the content of mail attachment, as this attachment will be analyzed automatically.

The "Send E-Mail about a device" Window is opened from the Menu Item Tools - Send Email about a device... in the Main Window. Please note that this Menu Item will only be shown if compatible E-Mail software is installed on your computer.
