SHORTCUTS

cimage.gif (199 bytes) Defines image or text. For text you can set attributes like font, size, color, or make it have transparent background.
Additionally, you can define text to be shown at once or letter by letter at any speed.
With Desktop option button you can instruct your screen saver to remember desktop screen (as seen just before screen saver starts running) as image to be used later in screen saver itself.
With Wallpaper option button you can instruct your screen saver to take current wallpaper image from a desktop of a target computer at runtime and use it later in screen saver itself.
cshow.gif (202 bytes) Shows image or text. Choose image or text from a list and set x,y coordinates of upper left corner of image or text.
List contains images/texts defined with Image command.
With New image button you can call Image command without leaving Show command.
Under Position option button you can choose between exact coordinates, center, or random position for showing image/text on screen.
If Restore after hide option is checked, eventual later Hide command for that image/text will restore background image to state before using Show command.
If you choose one of available image effects, Tile or Stretch, all other options are unavailable.
cmove.gif (200 bytes) Moves image/text from one place to another at any speed. Show command is not needed before Move command.
Under Position option button you can define start and end coordinates for a trajectory at exact, center, or random positions.
If Keep while moving option is checked, image/text being moved will just "float" above background keeping it intact in the moving process.
If Restore after hide option is checked, eventual later Hide command for that image/text will restore background image to state before using Move command.
chide.gif (179 bytes) Hides image/text you select from the list.
Restores background to state prior to Show or Move commands if Restore after hide option was checked in those commands.
cwait.gif (165 bytes) Defines pause before screen saver continues to run.
ccls.gif (104 bytes) Clears screen. You can define background color for that cleared screen.
crepeat.gif (152 bytes) Marks the beginning of the commands sequence that you want to be repeated.
cuntil.gif (151 bytes) Defines end of the commands sequence that you want to be repeated from 1 to loop times. You can define how many times you want that sequence to be repeated, or set an infinite loop.
cline.gif (100 bytes) Draws a line between two coordinates. You can define exact coordinates (or make them random), color and style (solid, dot, dash etc.)
This simple command can be used for various interesting effects.
cmulti.gif (255 bytes) Defines media file to be included in screen saver.
Active ScreenSaver Builder supports wav and avi media file types.
cplay.gif (132 bytes) Plays previously defined media file. If necessary, screen saver execution can be stopped temporarily while media file is being played once or several times.
Find Wait/No wait, Repeat and Position controls under the Settings button.
cstop.gif (121 bytes) Stops playing selected media file.
ccomment.gif (184 bytes) Inserts a line with your comment.
Very important command. Use it to mark different parts of your screen saver.
All commands have optional comment that will be shown immediately after command name in ssd file.
