Czechoslovakia (two states nowadays - Czech republic and Slovakia) was a free democratic european country before World War II. As a result of this world war it became a part of the Soviet Union influence imperium of so-called "socialist countries". After an attempt to win again the lost freedom in 1968 our country was even occupied by the Soviet army. People were not allowed to travel freely abroad, to say what they mean, ... This sad, half century long, episode of our history fortunately ended in 1989 with decay of Soviet Imperium.
