Date Modifier

Purpose: Modifies the date and time stamps that every file has. To view the date stamp of any file, you can right click the file and select properties from windows explorer, or you can choose Anatomy from Hackman's File menu.

Set this as creation date and time: sets system's current date and time or user's selected date and time as the creation date and time of the logged file
Set this as modification date and time: sets system's current date and time or user's selected date and time as the  date and time that the logged file was last modified
Set this as access date and time: sets the access date and time stamp according to the values indicated in the above fields.
Synchronize with system's values
: retrieves system's date and time and uses these values to change the date and time of the file. To change date & time stamps for creation, modification and last access of the file, check the equivalent check boxes.
Cancel closes the dialog box without applying changes while ok sets date and time as described from user.


Note: last access may have only a date stamp (restricted by the OS File System).
