This allows you to include a JavaScript, VBScript, JScript, Python, TCL or PHP script into the page you are editing. Not all scripts can be viewed by every browser. The standard is usually JavaScript.

Language

This specifies the type of script you wish to include in the document.

Content Type

This is used to define Apache-style file type listings, which should be included for a document with a script for HTML validity.

If you prefer, you can store the script in a file by itself, but this is not mandatory. If you use this option, it would be a good idea to use the content-type attribute listed above.

Script Code

This is the actual script itself. By selecting the relevant language as explained above, you script will be highlighted like the main document editing window.
