This is a combination
of HTML forms and JavaScript, which provides a viewer with a drop-down list
of links to choose from. ScriptWorx generates all the code for you, but you
must specify the following when prompted:
Number Of Items
The number of options
you wish to appear in the menu. From one up to any number which a browser can
cope with, but ten should be a rule-of-thumb as a maximum.
Name Of Menu
This is required
for the JavaScript to work. Only basic a-z letters and 0-9 numbers.
You'll see a
table in the middle of this window. Select the row (which is equal to one row
on the menu) and enter the following values for it in the text boxes provided
below the table.
Current Link
This specifies
what page should be displayed when an option on the menu is selected.
Current Text
This is the text
that will appear for that menu option.
Do this for
each of your menu items, and then click "Ok" to add the menu to your
page.
WARNING!:
Netscape
Navigator has problems if you use file://C:\ commands to local pages, so you
should ideally just use the "relative" link style instead (eg. /directory/filename.html).
