Super Tetris adds a number of new features and options to the classic game, including a multiplayer feature, a new Anti-Tetris playing option and shapes with up to five blocks.
More challenging and addictive than ever, Super Tetris takes the classic game of falling blocks to a new level. As in the original game, the goal is to use different falling shapes to create complete horizontal lines without any gaps, which causes that line to be removed, or cleared. The more lines you clear, the higher your score. With the new multiplayer option, two players can now play at the same time, either cooperatively or as competitors. Or, to make things even more interesting, try Anti-Tetris, in which blocks are colored and marked with different shapes, including circles, squares or stars. In order to clear lines, you'll have to place certain colors and shapes next to each other. Super Tetris also includes a number of additional blocks, including Ghost Blocks, Bomb Blocks and Black Holes, each with a different function. For example, Ghost Blocks can pass through blocks to fill inner holes, while Bomb Blocks eliminate all blocks near it, enabling you to destroy bad structures. Use the expanded Settings Window to choose options and change settings without having to restart the game. This latest version of Super Tetris also includes a help file, high graphics, a level commenting window, new sound effects and bug fixes.
