The ISAPI search tool is provided as an alternative to the Sambar Search Engine. Unlike the Sambar Search Engine which requires the site administrator to pre-index the pages being searched, the ISAPI search tool walks all files found in the Documents Directory in "real-time" when the search is requested.

Notes: Only files ending in *.htm, *.html and *.txt are searched. In addition, only files found in or beneath the directory in which the search.dll is located are searched. In the example above, the search.dll is placed in the Documents Directory, so all files below /docs are searched.
