Using Sound Cards Creative Labs. SB-16/AWE32/64
as a Guitar Effects Processor
To install software unzip file into any temp folder and run setup.exe. After installation of Guitar Effects Software your can use your personal computer as a power guitar effects processor with reverb, chorus, flanger, delay and distortion. It is very simple to plug-in a guitar into your sound card. Go direct from your guitar to the sound card Line-In or Microphone-In for a pure clean guitar or go through a guitar amp with a direct output. You will need a 1/4" to 1/8" adapter to plug the guitar cord into the sound card line-In or microphone input. Tune your sound card mixer exactly as you can see on pictures. Run standard Windows sound card mixer tuner c:\windows\sndvol32.exe and tune it as on pictures.

Also you must check you sound card drivers settings. You must do it via My_Computer >>> Windows Control Panel >>> System >>> Devices >>> Audio&Video >>> Creative Labs >>> SB-16/AWE32/64

I received v2.04. Again, it's a killer !!!! I think a manual type description of it, like what does what and how, would be a great idea. I must say that I'm a little lost with the inversed sliders and all the filters stuff. A help from you would be apreciated (it will be soon). Pat

The software works perfectly on computer. It is a fantastic program, a real breakthrough in this area of programming. I did find your software to work just like a hardwired effects box, there is nearly no detectable I/O delay. Effects sound good, I would like to play with the other controls that you have places for. The only drawback is that there is considerable background hissing. I am using a SB AWE64 with irq = 5 dma1 = 1 dma2 = 5 setting and AMD-k6 233 MHz processor; it seems to be working great.

Yeah, it really works without IN/OUT delay in computer, that's why I'm so excited. I tried Cubase VST, GateFX, N-Track (using PCI audio card), Exrock and RCFX( both for DOS and SB) and others, but v202 is THE BEST for guitar play!!! I'm waiting v203!!! It will rock!! Dmitri, if I can help you with your program count with me. I'm talking to my friends about it.

I experimented abit with the mic. it seems pretty cool !!! i couldnt do much though but your effects sound like real effects ! i dont know how you did that, but its like having all the pedals a guitar player could need !! , so now i would really really like to have your program on my computer back in my dorm room !!! thanks very much.

It's fine... There's no any longer in/out delay so it's much better play now... It works pretty nice with my guitar... Now I can play Bulls On Parade :) you have made Great prog...

Your software ROCKS!!! There's absolutely NO DELAY! I thought it was impossible to make an effects processor software without IN/OUT delay. But you proved it is! The big shit is that I have to access the website each time I want to run it... Wouldn't it be possible to make a non-internet version soon? (YES!) And another thing I am looking for in future is MORE EFFECTS!!! Distortions are wonderful, Reverb isn't bad either, but what I need is Delay! I think that delay machine isn't a hard thing to code. Could you create it one day? Well, keep up the great work! Big fan, Vytis.

Hi Dmitry,
I installed MSIE4 and went to the url and it worked. I must say I'm very impressed. V2.03 is fantastic! And no delay whatsoever. But I changed my I/O from 330 to 300. I could only do this in the autoexec.bat. I didn't find a way to do it from windows/control panel.
Regards, Parees.
