Describer is a lightweight shell extension that enables you to add descriptions, personal notes, or any text you'd like to any and all files and folders on your computer. It's attractive and very easy to use. Once it's installed, a new menu item, "Describe," is available from Explorer's right-click context menus. Select the new item to add and view your notes. Describer even allows you to add notations to files on CR-ROMs and other read-only media.
