Plugins

Plugins are mostly 3rd party tools that integrate with Hackman and extend its capabilities. To get help with a plugin, open it and see if it has any 'Help' buttons. If it hasn't or it has no output/input screen, check to see if there is an online documentation available (Help|PlugIn Manuals|<Name of the plugin>).

The best and easiest way to develop your plugin is to download our SDK from our web site (http://members.tripod.com/~techmasters) then install it in Hackman's directory. You can access from the Developer menu all the necessary items to develop your plugin.

Can you actually trust these components? How can you distinguish a plugin from Hackman's built-in tools? Tough to answer but the plugins that you can find in the plugin center were checked by us and found ok. But what's really hard is to distinguish them from Hackman's functions. Try to remove all .hmp files from the \plugins folder and see what menus were removed.

For more information on Hackman's Plugins, consult the SDK and us.
