Folder Guard is a utility for hiding and restricting access to folders and other Windows resources.
Once configured, Folder Guard runs transparently in the background, using up very little RAM and system resources. You have complete control over access to folders. You can hide any folder, so that its contents become invisible to all applications, including Windows Explorer and MS-DOS applications. 

Features of Folder Guard include: password protection, user-dependent configurations, a log file, user validation at logon, and the ability to control user access to Windows resources such as the Start Menu and Control Panel.
