PURPOSE

Boss Everyware assembles data about computer usage 
and user work time: which software the users/employees
are using and when and how long the users have interacted 
with each software/window/Web-page. The data is recorded 
appropriately formatted such that it can be imported easily 
by a database management system or by a spreadsheet application.

The 50K hidden program reports user's actions into 
a text or encrypted file. Report files can be easily 
imported by MS Excel or a DB-management system or 
viewed and handled by a supplied utility. 
It is possible to integrate reports from several
LAN-stations into one report file at run-time. 

· Very user friendly. Only one configuration panel 
  which is easy to use. 
· Doesn't affect the normal functioning of the system. 
· No additional DLLs required. No system updates needed. 


WHO NEEDS IT? 

Boss Everyware lets EMPLOYERS observe and record how their
Employees really "interact" with their computers. 
"Interacting" is defined as: "what the user was really 
doing at any particular time and not which programs he/she 
had started that morning and kept on in the background while
playing Solitaire all day." 

It is also useful for PARENTS who want to control how their 
Children are interacting with the family computer (e.g., 
computer games, learning software, Bart Simpson’s Web Site 
or Dad’s on-line banking service). 

Boss Everyware can also be useful for SYSTEM ADMINISTRATORS who
can now track user actions which may have caused a system failure.
 
Furthermore, it could help SOFTWARE DEVELOPERS find
which parts of their projects are the most time consuming. 


SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

The Boss Eweryware is 32-bit application designed for Windows 95 
and Windows 98. 

It will not run on Windows NT 4.


INSTALLATION

Copy all the files contained in the archive into an empty
directory and run INSTALL.EXE. Follow the simple instructions
which appears on the screen.


PROGRAM STATUS

This program is a shareware. You can use it for 30 days, and 
if you still want to use it, you should register it. 
This unregistered (trial) version shows the remainder 
screen every hour. The registered version does not.
